Hichibuku Therapy Level I (Shoden level) : Koho Anma
Peter says about this seminar: “We will be mainly working with a treatment routine that emphasised oscillatory movements working with Hatsumi Sensei’s principle that the human spine is like a fish on land. In addition we will also be doing a self treatment routine that is more dynamic than the last one. This is one of my favourite modules to teach.”
The shoden level (level 1) covers the following (which is going to be transmitted during all 6 modules):
Junan Taiso
Traditional Japanese stretching exercises to encourage a supple and healthy body
Taihenjutsu
Japanese self correction and integrated movement exercises. These include exercises (similar to ‘Do-in’ exercises) that enable patients to maintain health and rehabilitate after injury and disease.
Eiyo
Japanese nutrition. The principle is ‘you are what you eat’. Food can be a very powerful medicine and is about more than just having sufficient nutrients, vitamins and minerals. By choosing the correct foods you can counteract stress, disease and general body weaknesses.
Kokyu Ho
Specific Japanese breathing methods
Anma (Koho Anma – Traditional Anma)
Japanese massage, acupressure and reflex points. This promotes repair and the restoration of normal function by releasing muscle tensions, restoring vital energy and improving drainage. This restoration of balance creates a state of health and vitality. Japanese Anma was the original form of Shiatsu.
Kuatsu-ho (kyusho & tsubo / sappo & kappo)
Vital points, points and revival methods.
Shoden waza 1, 2 & 3 Level 1 general treatment routines to balance and maintain the patient’s body
